Responsibilities

  • Develop business strategies to raise our customers' pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
  • Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
  • Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
  • Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
  • Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc
  • Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
  • Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
  • Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
  • Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance
  • Additional store manager duties as needed

Requirements:

BA in Business Administration, or related field preferred-3-6 years of high volume store management experience -Must have the availability and the ability to work a flexible schedule to meets the demands of a retail business and retail consumer which may include regular nights, weekends, long and short shifts


  • Retail Operations knowledge including:
sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation and loss prevention


  • Strong Computer skills:
POS Systems and Microsoft Office, Math Skills and Phone Skills

  • Staff Development Experience: Knowledge in staffing, coaching, counseling, training, development, employee corrective action and performance management. Able to coordinate and manage a team to accomplish multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment Demonstrated ability to lead and create a teamoriented environment and provide excellent customer service Demonstrated ability to lead a team to coordinate operational tasks, including receiving shipment and maintain store cleanliness, will occasionally participate in those tasks when additional support is needed. Able to effectively communicate in verbal and written English Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 2550 pounds occasionally Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods of time, including repetitive use of upper extremities.
BS degree in Business Administration or relevant field
