Business Overview

What You'll Do (Role Purpose)


Based in Toronto, Canada, the Canadian Country Manager position reports into the North America President for Kimberly-Clark Professional (KCP) and will be responsible for crafting the long-term strategic business plan for Canada and accelerating sustainable growth, taking into account all aspects of our business model.


  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the customer perspective (internal, external and/or consumer), including a keen understanding of customer basic business operations and the organizational levers (systems, processes, departments, functions) that drive profitable growth and customer decision making. Activates this customer knowledge by integrating with internal levers in the development of business strategy and operational plans
  • Create sustainable profitable growth. Uses understanding of customers, categories and end user to create and seize business opportunities. Utilizes KCP's integrated strategic marketing and brand management practices to win in the marketplace. Effectively grows the business while maintaining the highest integrity
  • Actively collaborates with the Category and Channel Marketing team to validate our GTM hypotheses and implement our sales and marketing plans for the region in order to win in the marketplace.
  • Work crossfunctionally (sales force, inside sales, capability, marketing, supply chain, finance, legal, HR, etc.) to develop and execute strategic initiatives in Canada
  • Effectively allocates regional targets to team leads and marketing resources. Ensures delivery of all targets and controllable expense/spending within budgeted rates
  • Develop a winning and highperformance culture; fosters a coaching atmosphere by enabling our culture of accountability through the effective use of providing and asking for feedback
  • Proactively communicates with and provides feedback to Chief Customer Officer and KCPNA stakeholders regarding distributor stratification, pipeline activity, end user segmentation, and capability gaps to improve strategy execution
  • Act as the senior entity representative for KCP in Canada; ensure operations are within regulatory framework, results are achieved with the letter and spirit of COC, and appropriate internal controls are in place

Experiences We're Looking For

  • Experience leading complex organizations and managing business with P&L visibility, sales and marketing experience and/or exposure in market with strong competition
  • Strong commercial focus an ability to discern business opportunities from market insights and drive these to successful business results
  • Highly developed collaboration skills with an ability to work across a matrix organization, influencing peers, other functions with credibility and strong business leadership
  • Change agent an ability to deal confidently with ambiguity, motivate people through transformation and mobilize
