Description

A Dispatcher is required to communicate with drivers to assist with problem resolution while on route. Furthermore, handling incoming service orders, directs drivers, and resolves service issues. Interacts with customers, including customer service, sales, and operational staff. The dispatcher will uses GFL proprietary software to enter ticket information and track productivity.

Job Duties:

Handle, organize, and update customer job details, and create work orders
Process and track customer deposits, and payments
Utilize Industry specific software to schedule driver's routes
Prepares quotes, and estimates for event packages
Communicate clearly and concisely with the drivers about their route for the day
Additional administrative duties as required.
Reporting to the Portables dispatch supervisor

Requirements:

Dispatch experiences an asset
Strong customer service experience in a fast-paced environment requiring extensive multitasking
Proven ability to prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
A self-starter with the ability to work independently under mínimal supervision
Strong computer skills
Attention to detail, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills in high pressure situations
