ASAU continues to diversify its faculty and curriculum, including recent cross-appointed colleagues with Indigenous Studies and Art History. Newly appointed faculty have expertise in spatial justice, social equity, community design, and Indigenous cultural and spatial practices.

ASAU and Carleton University are sited on the unceded, non-Treaty territories of the Algonquin Anishinaabeg.

This history and relationship with these lands frames our efforts to understand decolonization in the context of all our inclusion efforts and provide an understanding how we best create the environments in which we work, learn, and live.

Required Qualifications

  • A terminal professional degree in Architecture (i.e., M.Arch).
  • Experience in university teaching (design studio and technology courses).
  • Experience in scholarly or creative research or professional practice.
Desired Qualifications

  • A Ph.
D. and/or Professional Registration.
