Our team of 700+ staff see clients virtually and physically from our downtown Toronto and Oakville clinics.


The Role:
The Marketing team at Medcan is accountable for managing Medcan's brand campaigns and communications.

With an emphasis on product and service marketing, omni-channel campaigns, and ideation, this role will help to grow the Medcan brand in all areas of marketing such as brand awareness and lead generation.

This is a summer internship opportunity that will run from May to August.

The role will work directly with the Campaign Manager and will have the opportunity to be part of a corporate environment, be an active participant in a designated project, and be a member of a highly collaborate team.


The Accountabilities:

  • Play an active role in ensuring the success of key projects, including coordination of campaign assets, tracking progress, updating teams, and meeting deadlines.
  • Developing marketing briefs and instructional documents to inform team members of what is needed to for various projects
  • Updating marketing team members on project statuses and task deadlines, while ensuring workback schedules are continuously updated
  • Ideation and research around latest industry trends and best practices
  • Submitting campaign content for approval amongst internal stakeholders
  • Researching and evaluating competitor marketing and digital content.
  • Researching and strategizing new ways to acquire net new clients.
  • Supporting the marketing team in daily administrative tasks and provide support as needed.

The Requirements:

  • Current student in 3rd or 4th year at a postsecondary institution
  • Working towards a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration/Commerce, or Healthcare Management / Administration is preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required, Salesforce would be considered an asset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
  • Highly analytical and comfortable with quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Strong time management and able to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Selfsufficient individual with the ability to work well in crossfunctional teams
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
This is a summer internship opportunity from May to August. You will work 5 days/week between Monday to Friday. This is an in-office position with the opportunity for occasional work-from-home.
