SUMMARY:


The Division Pricing Analyst designs, modifies, maintains and assumes ownership for product pricing, sales data, and configuration deliverables across all locations to help achieve business growth, expanded market offerings and improved product flow accuracy.


JOB DUTIES - Pricing Analyst:


  • Manages the development, execution, and communications of financial, operational metrics and administrative impact of proposed and implemented product pricing policy.
  • Manages the development, creation and maintenance of competitive pricing data, management of pricing updates, and ongoing tracking of current trends.
  • Responsible for pricing and reimbursement strategies for current and future products across all relevant markets and customers.
  • Identifies potential customers; manages existing customer relationships; monitors customer and competitor activity and industry trends.
  • Works closely and proactively with senior leadership to understand overall group goals and objectives.
  • Works closely with Sales and Product Groups to refine, enhance and maximize pricing strategies.

Job Duties - Inventory Analytics:


  • Work with other Motion branches across Alberta, Canada and North America to rebalance excess and non moving inventory.
  • Consolidate nonmoving and excess inventory by manufacturer and negotiate returns
  • Work with Motion procurement and inventory support to include CD30 nonmoving with supplier scrap.
  • Identify and coordinate with third party liquidators to sell our inventory (online marketplaces, auction houses)

DUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or related business field is required and at least seven (7) years of related experience in product configuration, pricing, and data analysis or an equivalent combination.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:


  • Demonstrated skills in the analysis of a variety of complex variables with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
  • Ability to handle multiple dataintensive projects simultaneously and to deal with changing priorities.
  • Must be able to explain complex functions in simple and understandable language.
  • Strong reasoning skills including troubleshooting logic flows, drive to produce accurate outputs and excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Requires strong problem solving, project management, data mining and configuration knowledge.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other emerging data analysis tools
