& QUALIFICATIONS

Our team is currently seeking a Geologist based in Montreal, QC, or a similar region to lead, assist, and provide technical expertise and leadership on various projects located within the general region as assigned.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, Senior Management and/or client, the Geologist will carry out and provide comprehensive technical and managerial leadership to both field
- and office-based exploration and mining operations teams.

Tasks will include mentorship and training of junior geologists, business development and client relations, construction and tracking of program budgets and proposals, routine reporting to both internal and external management, and various field tasks such as drill core/chip logging, geologic mapping, cross-section creation and interpretation, drilling and QA/QC program management, database entry and review, and field sampling.

• Must be based in Montreal, QC or similar metropolitan Canadian hub;
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Geology / Earth Sciences from an accredited University;
• Must hold Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) accreditation;
• Minimum 35 years of relevant mining / mineral exploration experience;
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
• Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office software;
• Proficiency with ArcGIS, Leapfrog Geo, MineSight 3D, Vulcan and/or GEMS considered a strong asset;
• Proficient experience and knowledge of bestpractice ethics and industry work standards;
• Proficient experience working on and / or managing all aspects of surface drilling programs;
• Proficient experience and leadership managing and tracking teams, programs, and budgets and deliverables;
• Ability to travel frequently on a rotational basis in support of various regional projects and clients;

Salary:
$32.00-$40.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
