With an expanding base of early customers and our first 23 satellites in orbit, Kepler is continuing to grow and expand its most important asset - the Team


With the imminent transition to our new location, our IT department will play a pivotal role, necessitating additional support to ensure a smooth and successful migration.

To effectively manage this transition and maintain operational efficiency, we are seeking a highly motivated Support Technician to join our IT team.


Responsibilities:


  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including imaging systems, providing equipment, and setting up proper account access.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for IT policies and processes.
  • Manage, and organize IT hardware, equipment, software, and licenses.
  • Provide helpdesk support for desktops, workstations, and IT equipment issues.
  • Assist the system administrator with backup/restore, business continuity, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Assist with software and security upgrades as required.
  • Perform duties in the office environment.

Requirements:


  • Postsecondary education in IT or related field.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ambitious and highly selfmotivated, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible, handson approach to work in a fastpaced, highpressure, and collaborative environment.
  • Solid knowledge of computer hardware.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts.
  • Uptodate knowledge of industry best practices and technology.

Bonus Points:


  • 12 years of working experience in IT or related roles.
  • Experience with Linux in a working environment.
  • Working experience with writing scripts.
  • Home lab setup environment.
