Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA):
- Job Duties
Job Duties - 1. Provide instruction in mathematics and statistics classes to postsecondary students in a wide variety of programs.
- Practice good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Plan and deliver content and learning activities that reflect the values, beliefs, needs, and contributions of a culturally diverse community.
- Utilize LMS for in person, online, and blended course delivery.
- Manage the classroom/lab/activities to ensure an optimum learning environment using an outcomes-based approach.
- Respond to and accommodate the special learning needs of students, including equity groups and diverse learners.
- Use appropriate evaluation methods, record student progress, and provide feedback.
- Make necessary curriculum adjustments to course content.
- Follow academic regulations and policies adopted by Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
- Work cooperatively with program heads and colleagues in an interdependent "team" environment.
- Pursue professional development opportunities to keep current with industry and educational requirements.

- 1. Master's degree in Mathematics or Master's of Science (Mathematics/Statistics).
- Two years' recent/relevant business/industry experience or post-secondary experience.
- Effective communication skills (written and oral).

- Effective instructional ability.
- Ability to arrange, maintain and evaluate resources.
- Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
