What to expect:

Expect to be a critical part of the newly-formed Strategy Realization Office (SRO). The SRO will partner with business leaders from across the organization to ensure strategic success.

You will help to shape the specifics of this instrumental role as you lead the Change Management function and help us become, "Bigger, Bolder, Better.

"


This position has primary responsibilities to support all aspects of change management and internal communications efforts as it relates to to the development and execution of the organization's strategic plan and associated initiatives.

This includes development of change management and communications strategies and plans, across multiple channels, and developing and executing related events.

This position is also responsible to work collaboratively with internal partners across the enterprise.


This includes:


Change Management

  • Using a defined process framework, assess impacts on culture and leverage strategic changes to support an enhanced employee value proposition. This includes conducting a Change Impact and Organizational Readiness Assessment, limit potential risks
  • Design strategic approach to managing change and partner with management to rollout changes
  • Evaluate resistance in adopting the change at all employee level
  • Develop resources for employees and people leaders to support successful change (job aids, FAQs, training, etc.)
  • Develop and deliver training to support buyin to the organization's strategy
  • Create and implement change and change communications plans to support initiatives across the business and conduct assessments to measure plan effectiveness
  • Define and measure success metrics to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of communications and change management efforts, leveraging this data to inform continuous improvement on future initiatives
  • Conduct postimplementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of the change related plans and initiatives

Strategic Communications development and execution

  • Prepare, implement and evaluate highquality and innovative communications plans for the strategic plan development and execution
  • Design and deliver activities to create excitement, engagement and enthusiasm around strategic initiatives
  • Develop and produce effective, wide range of highquality communications materials related to strategic initiatives that tell a story tailored to the target audience, to drive awareness and adoption of changes
  • Translate complex information into clear, simplified messaging through a variety of verbal and written communication channels
  • Write communications on behalf of the President/CEO, VP Strategy & People, and other members of the Senior Leadership Team
  • Prepare strategic briefings and updates for the Board of Directors
  • Collaborate with business unit stakeholders and crossfunctional groups to develop, align, and roll out a variety of communications across various communications channels
  • Plan and project manage events including strategic kickoffs, recognitions, and celebrations
  • Schedule, manage, and align communications across the organization so the right messages are received by the right audiences at the right time

This position reports initially to the
VP, Strategy and People but will be a dynamic position that will provide a diverse experience in a wide range of business lines within CWB Group and EWI.

You will be working remotely from your home office with possible occasional travel to project locations across Canada.

CWB has adopted a remote-first working model, where employees will work from their home office, servicing the client within their specified areas either remotely or in person.

What you bring to the table:

  • University degree Communications, Journalism or relevant field OR a combination of education and experience
  • 57 years relevant communications and change management experience
