We currently have a
Regular Full-time opportunity for a
Computer Systems Analyst
in the Information Services (IS- RTP)
Department at our Bayview **Campus.

**Hours of Work:
Weekdays & Weekends:
Days; 8hrs; As per schedule


On Call Required

Summary of Duties

  • Computer support for the following Radiation Program computer systems:
  • Treatment Planning systems
  • Treatment Delivery Systems
  • Responsible for monitoring, maintaining and upgrading the Operating Systems of
  • Manage Network Server hardware, software and associated server resources: Intel and Sun hardware
  • Investigate and resolve problems with Server hardware and/or software
  • Implement and support RTP system
  • Support backup of planning system files and database.
  • Analyze user / systems requirements,
  • Update and coordinate computer hardware / software and peripheral equipment requirements.
  • Install and configure hardware for servers and SAN storage
  • Analyze problems and provide end user support
  • Liaise and interface with hardware and software vendors
  • Develop and/or deliver presentations, write detailed technical reports and provide technical guidance.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Technologyrelated field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 46 years of related experience
  • Strong handson administrative knowledge of Windows and UNIX system
  • Indepth handson knowledge in UNIX and Windows scripting, linear accelerator proprietary computer hardware including CT scanner support
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, Wireless), PowerShell and Administrative scripting proficiency.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Excellent client relations skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment
  • Experience working in a teamoriented, collaborative environment.
  • Selfstarter with an ability to work independently
