Primary Duties:

Specific Duties:

  • Design and implement the Shift recruitment strategy
  • Lead the fullcycle recruitment process, including preparing, sourcing, screening, selecting, hiring, and onboarding
  • Create adverts and job descriptions
  • Post adverts
  • Book and conduct prescreen interviews
  • Schedule and conduct interviews
  • Complete reference checks
  • Consult with the Director of Operations and Program Managers about hiring decisions and staffing needs
  • Prepare letters of offer
  • Collect hiring packages
  • Manage file compliance process
  • Manage HR database
  • Attend job fairs and conduct presentations at postsecondary institutions to proactively promote the company as a positive place of employment
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, social media, and employees and associates
  • Lead the development of local and national recruiting campaigns
  • Maintain accurate statistics on employee recruitment and retention
  • Lead or assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Attributes

  • An energetic selfstarter who can work successfully within a team but also doesn't shy away from the opportunity to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of organization and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Windows software.
  • Ability to research information and produce documents
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationshipbuilding skills.
  • A diploma or degree in the human resources field or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
Employment Specifics

  • Permanent fulltime (100%) position / 37.5 hours per week.
  • 8:30 am 4:30 pm, Monday Thursday in office and WFH on Fridays
