The position of
PIC Client Relationship Associate provides business and relationship management as well as planning support to one or more Portfolio Managers.
Through dedication and expertise, this role enables the Portfolio Manager to delight their clients and deliver on Private Investment Counsel business priorities.
Furthermore, you will:
- Build positive relationships with existing clients, external referral sources and other Wealth and Bank partners; participate in client meetings and the wealth planning process
- Act as a secondary contact to the Portfolio Manager for maintaining positive client relationships by delivering the best plan for the client according to their customized needs
- Take initiative to share new ideas for improved overall department efficiency
- Establish and manage relationships with assigned branches of the Portfolio Manager; act in a courteous and professional manner to support client loyalty and satisfaction scores
- Maintain an accurate and current database of relevant client information and opportunities, stay uptodate on securities and market developments, gather research and prepare client proposals
- Be knowledgeable of and align with Bank and industry service and ethical standards, rules, policies and procedures
- Ensure all necessary due diligence to support the accuracy and compliance of all customer transactions and activities and raise issues where appropriate
- Participate fully as a member of the team and support a positive work environment that promotes service to clients, colleagues, partners, the business and Bank
Job Requirements
- Completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within one year of hire date or promotion
- Undergraduate Degree or Community College Diploma is an asset
- Desirable designations include Personal Financial Planner (PFP) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
- Strong communication skills with ability to build relationships and work in a team as well as independently
