Eaton's ES AMER PCS CA division is currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver - Afternoon.What you'll do:
Eaton's Electrical Sector - Canada is currently seeking 1 Shipper and Receiver position in EPC (Edmonton Power Centre) to join our team.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the supply chain supervisor this position will be responsible to receive in bound goods to the EPC using our supply chain management tools.
**Please note that this is a Monday through Thursday position working from 3:30 pm to 2 am. The shifts will be 10 hour shifts and eligible for overtime after the 10th hour. There will be a $1 dollar per hour shift premium assigned for this rotation. Training will initially be provided on the day shift for 2-4 weeks at the commencement of employment (Monday to Friday from 7am to 330 pm).

In this function you will:
- Manage receipt of incoming goods by inspecting, confirming, and receiving against purchase orders and/ or shipping documents.
- Verify data and resolve problems regarding receiving/delivering inbound shipments.
- Load and offload goods from trailers and couriers.
- Communicate and coordinate with freight companies, if required.
- Deliver materials to their appropriate locations.
- Assist with inventory control and maintain item locations in Oracle.
- Work with production, engineering, and supply chain to locate products.
- Resolve incoming material discrepancies with supply chain planners.
- Perform inspections and update our WISPER system. Issue DMR's against suppliers
- Participate in Eaton's safety program (MESH)
- Organize and maintain the warehouse as per Eaton's EPC 5S process.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years working experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 1 year experience driving a forklift. Forklift certification is required
- Eaton will provide training.
- Experience operating a Crane.
- Completion of High School or GED equivalent is required.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Outlook, and basic knowledge of Excel
Preferred qualifications:
- ERP knowledge preferred
- Crane Certification
- Eaton will provide training.
- Knowledge of mechanical or electrical components preferred.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing preferred
- Understanding of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) would be an asset
