- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Viral Nation's content library, with a focus on programmatic ads, integrated sponsorships, and licensing/distribution.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key decisionmakers at brands, agencies, and other potential clients, with a goal of driving revenue and expanding the company's customer base.
- Lead a team of sales and creative professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their individual and collective goals.
- Work collaboratively with other departments within Viral Nation, including talent, production, and marketing, to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with company goals and priorities.
- Stay uptodate on industry trends and best practices, and use this knowledge to inform sales strategy and tactics.
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports, and use these to track progress against revenue goals.
- Manage contract negotiations and other aspects of the sales process.
- Attend industry events and conferences, and represent Viral Nation in a professional and positive manner.
- Work closely with the Creator Studio and Talent divisions to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with the needs and goals of the content creators.
- Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes and procedures, with a focus on maximizing efficiency and revenue generation.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in media sales, preferably in digital media or advertising.
- Demonstrated success in generating revenue and meeting sales targets.
- Experience leading and managing a sales team, with a proven ability to motivate and coach others to achieve their goals.
- Deep familiarity with programmatic advertising, including experience selling digital ads on a CPM basis.
- Strong understanding of the advertising industry, including trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex contract negotiations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals and priorities.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to inform sales decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or advertising.
