Job Summary:

Our client is a leading low to mid-rise developer committed to creating sustainable, innovative, and quality living spaces across Toronto.

They are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with site superintendents, consultants, and contractors.
Facilitate project meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and document meeting minutes for distribution among stakeholders
Prepare initial project costing, review estimates, and monitor project budgets against actual costs.
Evaluate tenders, negotiate contracts, and manage contract administration processes.
Coordinate and supervise daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Manage and update project documentation including drawings, specifications, and closeout documents.
Identify resource requirements, procure materials and equipment, and manage onsite logistics efficiently.
Resolve jobsite challenges promptly, recommending strategies to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards, conducting regular site inspections, and addressing safety concerns promptly.
Oversee the implementation of health and safety protocols, training initiatives, and incident reporting procedures.
Source competitive pricing from suppliers and contractors, issue purchase orders, and oversee procurement processes.
Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Employer, contributing to the overall success of projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in construction project management within low to midrise development.
Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
Strong leadership, communication, and problemsolving skills.
Indepth knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
