AFL Network Services is actively seeking a dynamic leader with a track record of achieving operational excellence to take on the pivotal role of Vice President of Premise Services Operations.


What you will accomplish together with our senior leadership team:
Being a part of our senior leadership team and in the capacity of reporting directly to the President, the Vice President of Premise Services delivers a vital outcome to guide AFL's financial goals, achieving objectives, enhancing operational performance, whilst fostering AFL's culture of collaboration


What You will do:


  • Actively involved in strategic planning and decisionmaking. The key focus of this position encompasses strategic planning, goal setting, evaluating operations to champion AFL Network services' objectives, formulating budgets and business plans for multiple business units, relationship management, and proactively addressing operational issues.
  • Full P&L ownership including planning, budgeting, operations; business growth via existing account penetration, new customer acquisition, new serviceline expansion.
  • Lead the formulation, planning, and execution of corporate strategy to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency across all business units' operations.
  • Attend leadership meetings and present the company's strategy, considering the diverse needs of various business units.
  • Report progress and results concerning the conditions of the organization, with a focus on the performance of multiple business units, at SLT meetings to ensure transparency.
  • Own the development and management of the operational profit and loss (P&L) for each business unit, striving to meet or exceed approved budgets or forecasts.
  • Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, analysis, appropriate allocation, and cost containment for each of the multiple business units.
  • Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to devise strategies for revenue generation and cost management aligned with organizational goals, considering the unique challenges of different business units.
  • Develop and oversee operational controls to ensure quality assurance in service delivery across the various business units.
  • Establish operational goals for each business unit, monitor, and evaluate results to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and corporate values.
  • Preside over operations, identifying, analyzing, and recommending opportunities to maximize margins through operational optimization across multiple business units.
  • Consistently seek and implement continuous improvement/lean tools and methodologies for process and performance enhancement in each business unit.
  • Develop meaningful Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics tailored for each business unit to monitor targets, identify opportunities, and leverage operations effectively.

What you bring:

Knowledge & Experience

years of related executive operational experience and understanding of service assurance, service delivery, and service fulfillment processes and technologies.


  • 10 years' leadership experience with a sizeable multidisciplinary team in a customercentric environment related to service, sales, production, or service delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience managing operational services at a senior level to geographically dispersed teams.
  • Telecommunications experience required must have deep understanding of industry and technical specifications.
  • Master's degree in business management, Finance, Operations, Engineering, or related field is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated history of ability to execute on objectives while achieving desired time, quality, and cost standards.
  • Exceptional financial acumen to plan and execute budget targets.
  • Solid understanding of business planning processes and key business metrics to be achieved.
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Power Point.
