- Safely and efficiently operate a lugger truck from Binbrook to Toronto.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation.
- Experience with the specific requirements of handling lugger bins and lugger trailer to ensure proper loading and unloading of mud waste.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the lugger truck.
- Communicate effectively with customer personnel and other team members to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules.
- Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), if required
- Ensure the lugger bins are securely fastened and positioned correctly on the truck and trailer.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or issues promptly to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, and any maintenance required.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- A clean Driving Abstract and CVOR
- AZ license, with minimum 3 years' experience
- Lugger experience is a must.
- Must be experienced with manual transmission.
- A thorough knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic laws
- Previous experience driving around GTA and know the areas thoroughly.

Description
GFL Environmental is a people-centric waste service organization which uses the latest technology to solve industry needs across North America. We are currently looking for a full-time Lugger Driver to join our team. As a Lugger Driver, you will be responsible for transporting lime waste from our client site to a designated location. This role requires strong driving skills, knowledge of manual transmissions, and experience in handling dump trailers. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of driving experience and a valid driver's license.
