Position Overview


This co-op position is responsible for assisting with basic accounting administration which includes posting, balancing and closing activities within accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing payments and tickets to producers.
  • Verify invoices received and process payments for freight.
  • Monitor customer invoices and accounts.
  • Prepare and assist with monthend reports and journal entries
  • Verify, research and resolve discrepancies
  • Provide quality service to internal and external customers that is tactful and knowledgeable
What is expected of you and others at this level

  • Acquire basic skills to perform routine tasks
  • Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy
  • Works with either close supervision, or under clearly defined procedures
Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 02 years' relevant experience would be considered an asset
