    Description

    Brandt is currently looking to fill a Financial Analyst position in our Regina, SK location.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Post journal entries, maintain asset schedules and reconcile intercompany accounts.
    • Prepare reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and complete month end close.
    • Prepare and analyze divisional financial statements to ensure timely completion.
    • Analyze profit and loss variances and generate reports of performance against budgets.
    • Assist with the preparation of documentation required for the annual external audit.
    • Identify internal process gaps and provide recommendations for improvements.
    • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
    • Prepare working papers required for consolidated financial reporting.

    Required Skills
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel is required.
    • Able to self manage time and prioritize numerous tasks to meet deadlines.
    • Sufficient adapt to circumstances.
    • Adequate understanding of financial metrics, financial reporting, and accounting cycle.
    • Capable to work in both individual and team settings with minimal supervision.


    Required Experience
    • University degree in Business/Accounting, with advanced degree or professional accounting designation (such as CPA) preferred.
    • 2 - 4 year(s) experience working as a Financial Analyst or Senior Accountant role.
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel is required.
