    Our client is a well-established manufacturer in the east end of Ottawa and they are looking to add a dynamic but firm administrative professional looking for security and longevity. The company boast over 30 years supporting the Ottawa construction and home renovation industries for close to 4 decades. We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant who is comfortable working in the warranty department providing strong client service to their customers. The Warranty Administrator would support the Executive Assistant with an array of admin duties but also take ownership for the warranty function. Responsibilities would include:

    • Answer all customer inquiries via phone or email in a timely manner
    • Initiate service orders to begin the dispatch and scheduling of work
    • Prepare service quotes for approval and communicate with clients on service costs
    • Schedule service orders and dispatch and maintain client engagements and timelines through process until product installation
    • Maintain client database and ensure all up to date service orders are entered and accurate
    • Coordinate with service and tech teams to provide status reports to ownership and clients

    We are seeking an experience administrator who has a thick skin to work in a Warranty department. Providing excellent customer service to this tenured business will be expected and critical. Your love for working with people is going to be evident and your desire to come to problem solve and find solutions will be your greatest strength. Our client requires someone who can not only be a strong communicator but an excellent listener. You will be able to speak with clients and empathize with their challenges. Excellent computer skills in Word & Excel and ability to learn and adapt to new programs quickly will be needed. You will be able to demonstrate a minimum of 3 years working in a service oriented role where you have been required to meet tight deadlines and work at a fast pace with multiple priorities.
