Job Summary & Impact:

As the Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for managing communications companywide. This will include creating video content for training and communicating companywide.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Onboarding and managing our new LMS platform.
  • Build the platform, tailored to business needs
  • Ensuring weekly onboarding tasks are done and the platform can get launched within the year with full content.
  • Train internal stakeholders on the use of the LMS platform
  • Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement
  • Creating and developing video content and presentations for training, branding, marketing, and communications
  • Organizing, managing and completing projects to improve communication companywide
  • Client relations and internal communications (campaigns, programs, news releases, etc)
  • Development and design of marketing/sales materials

General:

  • You may be involved with other miscellaneous tasks/projects as required
  • Participation in the development of content for our website and social media
  • Work cooperatively to foster a harmonious working relationship with all coworkers
  • You would be responsible for completing reports and other paperwork as associated with these projects and as assigned.
  • You would be required to complete weekly task lists and schedules and would have weekly meetings with your manager

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or another relevant postsecondary education
  • Basic skills for using Adobe Creative (InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro, etc)
  • Have a working knowledge of social media in a business setting (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Design, video editing and creative skills an asset Advanced skills working with Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and any other software systems

Compensation, Work Environment & Perks:


  • Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Office space at the head office but expected to work outdoors in the field to capture content
- $55,000 -$70,000

We would have quarterly meetings to discuss performance and advancement opportunities. We would have annual performance reviews to discuss wages. Increases would be dependent on your performance, responsibilities, and workload.
