The Dining Room Host/ Hostess plays an integral role in supporting the daily front of house functions of the dining experience in our various restaurants.

The host/ hostess will be the first employee our guests interact with making strong customer service and organizational skills a key to success in this position.


SEASONAL-FULL TIME

WAGE- $17.00 plus Gratuity

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Responsible for greeting patrons as they arrive in a warm and friendly manner, guiding them to their tables and introducing them to their server.
  • Record patrons contact tracing information while following the Covid19 screening process and explain Covid19 protocols upon arrival
  • Manage reservation system by booking, cancelling and confirming reservations, as well as monitoring the reservation systems waitlist and communicating estimated wait times to guests
  • Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow by having an awareness of each servers table load, timing and section. This involves maintaining the reservation systems seating chart
  • Provide each patron with a menu or when applicable details on how to view the menu through their tables QR code. Communicate daily specials.
  • Field customer complaints and respond to inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Assist with opening, closing and side duties that include cleaning, stocking, folding silverware etc

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Must have Smart Serve Certificate or be willing to obtain
  • Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills
  • Reliable, punctual and professional in presentation
