Accounting Clerk (Permanent Part Time):

Temiskaming Hospital is a 59-bed fully accredited community hospital located in New Liskeard, ON. We are currently accepting resumes for a permanent part-time Accounting Clerk.


The Accounting Clerk is responsible for posting to the General Ledger, maintaining accounts receivable records, accurate and prompt preparation of invoices.


Mandatory Requirements:


  • Community College Graduate specializing in accounting
  • Office experience with accounts receivable and data processing; good knowledge of bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer programs (Excel / Word) and Accounting programs
  • Oral proficiency in French at an advanced or superior level required
  • Must have an excellent work record, including attendance
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must demonstrate a commitment to ensure personal safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers and visitors
  • Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organization

Assets:


  • Good Communication skills in dealing with staff members, clients and family members
  • Recent OHIP billing and Meditech experience (within the past 3 years)
