This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting the respective digital and marketing goals of the dealerships, ensuring consistency in targeted objectives.

  • Have an academic marketing background
  • Experience in similar or comparable role
  • Are familiar with a retail automotive marketing environment

Responsibilities:


  • Review dealership websites daily, to ensure that outdated content has been removed; notify the General Manager accordingly
  • Assist with strategic development of content development for online campaigns and enhanced engagement on social media platforms
  • Actively monitor dealership online vehicle merchandizing, including development of monthly reports
  • Assist in the management of dealership website content
  • Collaborate with Marketing Graphic Design Team to effectively request, manage and execute marketing projects that meet overall objectives
  • Participate in other sector specific activities, such as Events, Private Sales and New Vehicle Launches as required and assigned
  • Ensure online properties are uptodate and provide accurate information
  • Prepare proposals and plans, and set goals for all search initiatives and projects
  • Define reporting metrics, analyze performance, and recommend improvements
  • Conduct competitor website audits and analyze
  • Assist the Marketing Team to develop standards to ensure quality control of content on the dealership websites
  • Assist in ongoing training support as necessary on key vendor software platforms, including CDK/One-Eighty, DealerMine, Trader DSS and more
  • Manage online reputation management for dealerships as well as liaise with stakeholders from dealerships to respond to any customer feedback
  • Assist in management of dealership website content, including updating, revising and integrating support content in a timely fashion
  • Prepare and distribute weekly dealership web site statistic reports, including data related to site visits, page views, length of visit, bounce rate, sales/service reads

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary education in business and/or marketing management with a proficiency for digital and social media management
  • Experience with retail automotive operations, with thorough understanding of sales processes, preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience in SEO best practices and tools
  • Ability to craft copy, with emphasis on creating content for social channels
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), content presentation/web writing style
  • Familiarity with web technology and strategies to leverage it as a communication/business tool
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on Photoshop
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to generate reports
  • Basic knowledge of building productive sponsorship and marketing partnerships
  • Ability to craft copy, with emphasis on creating content for social channels
  • Ability to source vendors, coordinate estimates, build budgets for special events
  • Effective and professional interpersonal, communication, time management and collaboration skills
  • Ability to take ownership of problems with a positive attitude and bring them to completion
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under all circumstances to deliver exceptional service to customers
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
