Responsibilities:

The
Lighting Specialist is responsible for analyzing the lighting market and assisting the Division's management team in meeting and exceeding common corporate goals for achieving sales and gross margin.

Promoting Nedco to ensure a competitive edge in the electrical industry
Responsible for lighting product sales and business development in the assigned territory
Knowledgeable in products, ability to read drawings and offer solutions to customers
Gather market information and analyze requirements and trends, on our pricing or product gaps and being able to effectively communicate to management
Meet with current and potential customers to identify their needs
Participate in joint calls with lighting vendors and Branch Sales Reps
Educate Branch Staff and Sales Teams on how to identify potential lighting opportunities

Skills:

Lighting experience and basic electrical knowledge is a prerequisite
Ability to analyze markets
Good organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written, an ability to impart knowledge
Excellent computer skills, MS Office, AS400 experience is an asset
