Description:

Responsible for all aspects of facility building and Zamboni operation including ice maintenance, flooding, building maintenance and janitorial duties.

Hours:
Can range from 10-20 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements:
Hands-on understanding of Zamboni operation, maintenance and repair. All around knowledge of mechanical equipment and facility maintenance.

A minimum of 2 years of previous training and operation of ice resurfacing equipment a must.
Working knowledge of ice making and ice maintenance.
Established attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and teach new skills.
Ability to accept and evaluate criticism on ice conditions.
Demonstrated ability to be a team player.
Ability to lift heavy objects of up to 20 pounds, e.g. bags of water softener salt.
Good communication skills.
Basic Computer knowledge.
Mechanical aptitude an asset.
Certified Ice Technician.
Must have a valid class "G" license.
Grade 12 High school or equivalent.
Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
