The Cyber Scenario Analysis team, part of Business Information Security Controls & Governance is responsible for protecting the Bank, customers and employees through the conduct of cyber scenario analysis to provide insight into the business and technology impacts of significant cyber-attacks against critical TD technology assets.

TD Information Security covers the development and management of security strategies, policies and programs to assess, prioritize, and mitigate business risk with technology controls.

About This Role


The Information Security Specialist, reports to the Senior Manager, Cyber Scenario Analysis, and works with the Senior Analyst to provide analysis support to the Cyber Scenario Analysis program.

Here is your opportunity to make a real mark in the advancement of TD's cybersecurity capability to help identify areas of cybersecurity risk to advance the overall cyber resiliency of the Bank.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the development, conduct and output reports of cyber scenario analysis workshops to determine business operational and financial impacts to the Bank.

The position requires attention to detail and an analytical mindset.

  • Understands operational risk and scenario analysis requirements and proposes options to ensure successful delivery and ongoing management of cyber scenario analysis methodology.
  • Work with the td Fusion Intel to develop attack profiles and plausible scenarios, based on credible threat intelligence for analysis of identified critical environments.
  • Interprets risk assessments and business discussions, revenue and operational loss data, and articulates facts, issues and/or recommendations for enhancement clearly and concisely at both a summary and detailed documentation level.
  • Completes, maintains and updates the cyber scenario analysis and related risk management process information and documentation to meet both internal and regulatory requirements in the US and Canada.
  • Assist in developing cyber scenario analysis results reporting/dashboard for senior business management consumption.
  • Drafts clear communications and updates the standards/guidelines and procedures as required.
Builds relationships with business peers, executives, and risk partners internally and across all TD Bank segments

  • Possess a thorough understanding of TD's organizational structure, businesses and operational footprint globally.
  • Time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives to meet deadlines and deliver highquality work product.
  • Work effectively in teams and respect different views when interfacing with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Be able to work independently, project confidence and operate effectively in the absence of regular feedback or guidance.
  • Be a confident, transparent and concise communicator (verbal and written).
