    Job Description
    • Assist in creating and implementing strength & conditioning programs for Toronto Raptors athletes.
    • Conduct performance assessments and adapt programs based on development goals, performance KPIs, and injury status/history.
    • Utilize performance-testing and performance-monitoring technologies effectively.
    • Implement sport and athlete-specific conditioning and reconditioning interventions.
    • Collaborate with Sports Science and Analytics staff to guide applied protocols.
    • Work with medical staff (including senior leadership, physiotherapists, athletic therapists, and massage therapists) to deliver player health operations and assist with return-to-play and performance rehabilitation.
    • Collaborate with coaches, front office, and team operations staff to enhance team performance and player success.
    Qualifications

    • University degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Human Kinetics, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience working with athletes in a performance capacity, including basketball experience and direct involvement in creating and individualizing strength & conditioning programs.
    • CSCS certification (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) maintained and in good standing. RSCC certification (Registered Strength & Conditioning Coach) is preferred.
    • Additional licenses or experience in rehabilitation (e.g., physiotherapy, athletic therapy) and familiarity with sports injuries..
    • Experience in a multidisciplinary/multiple-stakeholder environment with strong communication skills.
    • Experience with athlete assessments and constructing comprehensive needs analyses.
    • Familiarity with performance-based technologies (e.g., AMS/program management software, heart rate monitoring, force plates, LPS such as Kinexon, isometric/MVC testing such as KangaTech, etc.).
    • Valid CPR/BLS first responder certification.
    • Full availability for games, practices, and team obligations, including intensive travel.
