ICT Community Outreach Coordinator
Contract Position - 2 years

Working closely in the execution of research and the utilization of GIS technology with the GIS Coordinator,
Providing content and update all sections of the BSN website.
Generally, acting as the web manager for the Blue Sky Net website.
Maintaining accurate records of outreach activities, including contact information and outcomes and track and analyze outreach efforts to measure effectiveness and make datadriven improvements.
Providing ICT related information to municipalities, economic development organizations and SME's in order to accelerate the awareness and adoption of ICT.
Developing and delivering "Computer Applications" training workshops.
Creating and delivering an online technology themed newsletter "Tech Talk" and delivering it through a Mail Chimp campaign to our interested subscribers.
Tracking former BTIF (Business Technology Implementation Fund) clients.
Developing and delivering specifically designed ICT training sessions to participants from targeted industry sectors ( e.g. tourism, agriculture, forestry)
Maintaining all social media and developing targeted campaigns.
Engaging in activities designed to support the growth of the digital talent base through research and education delivery targeted to youth and new business startups with various techniques such as podcasts, video series or webinars.
Assisting the Executive Director with media development and monitoring, and would generally work to raise the awareness of the corporation.

As duties and projects can change at any time, various other duties could be performed as assigned.

This is a two-year salaried contract position; salary is commensurate with experience in addition to a basic health benefit plan.

Being bilingual is a highly preferred skill for this position as is Web Design, Introductory GIS, writing and digital marketing skills.

Must be proficient using the Microsoft Office suite.

$42,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
