  • Job SummaryThe Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure plans transportation networks, provides transportation services and infrastructure, develops and implements transportation policies. The Ministry's priorities include improving vital rural and urban infrastructure, investing in public transit, cycling infrastructure and other green modes of transportation, reducing transportationrelated greenhouse gas emissions and strengthening the economy through the movement of people and goods.


In this role, you are able to work effectively in a team environment, while also independently managing projects and tasks.

You are a skilled analytical thinker, an effective communicator, have excellent time management techniques, and thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills.


Job Requirements:


  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent and a minimum of four (4) years of related experience; OR,
  • Diploma or Degree in a related discipline (i.e., Geography, Land Use Planning or Environmental Science) and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience; OR,
  • An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be considered.
Related experience must include at least one (1) of the following:

  • Experience in the area of land use planning and development.
  • Experience in field services involving multiple stakeholders and partners at various levels.
  • Experience providing project management services for multiple assigned projects.
  • Experience developing and maintaining effective and cooperative working relationships, inside and outside government.
Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following:

  • Experience in the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.
  • Experience in land use planning.
  • Experience in the Ministry's Transportation Entry Level Program (TELP); previously known as the Technician Entry Level Program.
