Hiring Unit:
Procurement Services
Position Summary:
Procurement Services wishes to hire a Procurement Office Assistant to work in their office (onsite) that would do various administrative tasks within the unit.
Some of the tasks would include:
- assisting with various projects such as Procurement contract clean-up and data entry,
- clerical support to buyers and bench-marking tasks,
- front line support such as order amendments/cancellations,
- system address and currency maintenance,
- support to the Systems and Client Support Supervisor, help desk staff and supplier management administrator.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:
- Analytical Skills: ability to analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier information
- Communication Skills:
- Time management:
- Computer Skills:
Must be able to work with spreadsheets and databases.- Teamwork, adaptability to changes, must be ready for sudden changes in the mandates.
- Minimum Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma 1 Year Related Experience
