In your role, as Analyst, Program / Project Control, you will support Change Management for Sustaining and New aircraft programs initiatives which impact Customer training.

Normal duties include liaising with Program offices, Project and Core Engineering, Airworthiness, BA's Authorized Training Provider (ATP) and other internal and external stakeholders.

You will report on a weekly basis to the Manager, Bombardier Training Services.

When reporting or providing updates, emphasis must be placed upon the introduction of new or variant aircraft, modification of existing production aircraft, schedules, and the impact these changes will have upon training programs.


In your role, you will:

  • Be responsible for all Bombardier Training Services (BTS) sustaining Change Management Activities.
  • Monitor aircraft design changes through all the cycles of the change management process tracking impact to training item until closure.
  • Prepare all Change Board documentation by providing impact to Training.
  • Participate in the recommendation of design change process
  • Prepare weekly/monthly change management status reports for management reviews.
  • Initiate Program Change Requirements (PCRs) as required to support BTS.
  • Lead and support technical and program reviews with Authorized Training Provider (ATP) as well as manage day to day change activities to meet program priorities.
  • Attend Airworthiness meetings to confirm alignments between aircraft, simulator, courseware and National Reports.
  • Provide necessary support to postOperational Evaluations with respect to National Report generation and configuration.
  • Provide input to the ATP change management focal.
  • Communicate all configuration changes to ATP in a timely manner and track their implementation in simulator and courseware.
  • Follow up regularly with ATP for changes implementations status and closure.
  • Develop, achieve sign off and execute appropriate change management and quality assurance procedures and processes to ensure alignment of ATP with BA aircraft change management on all active platforms.
  • Develop, achieve sign off and execute the ATP audit protocol to ensure that they are aligned with the requirements for change management in the ATP agreement.
  • Review/provide analysis of program Design Change Certification Plan (DCCP) and Design Change Proposal (DCP) documents for source artifacts impacting Training and Simulators.

Qualifications

  • You have university degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent, 5 years' experience related to engineering, training, program management or aerospace.
  • You have strong knowledge of aircraft systems configuration and change management.
  • You have been involved and managed design change related activities.
  • You are a team player.
  • You possess detailed workscope skills.
  • You are knowledgeable of change management and aerospace training business.
  • You possess excellent negotiating, organizing and soft skills.
  • You are effective at communicating complex ideas to audiences with diverse aviation backgrounds.
  • You are enthusiastic about all things related to aviation and aircraft training businesses.
