Responsibilities:


  • Assist Project Managers with administrative duties and proposal/project support as requested and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with employees, peers, and clients;
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents;
  • Drafting, proofreading, and formatting correspondence, reports, presentations, proposals, and other materials as assigned using MS Word and Excel, and converting to PDF;
  • Scanning hard copy documentation;
  • Reception and office management duties, i.e., Scheduling and Coordinating meetings as required;
  • Provide support to Document control by updating and maintaining project files using Hatch's Document Management System;
  • Demonstrate a high level of expertise in Microsoft office and act as a resource to the office; and
  • Additional administrative tasks as required by the project teams.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of administrative experience in a professional work environment;
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Excellent coordination and planning skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Selfmotivation, initiative, and the ability to work effectively with all organizational levels;
  • Quick learner;
  • Well organized with good interpersonal skills;
  • Detail oriented individual who takes pride in their work and ensures work is always completed to the highest degree of accuracy;
  • Experience or knowledge of graphics programs will be an asset;
  • Previous experience with Document Management systems and engineering project environment will be an asset;
  • Can easily prioritize tasks, adapt to change, and work very well under pressure.
