Using your in-depth knowledge of best practices and legislative requirements, you'll design and implement FCC's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy.
You'll ensure that FCC is taking action to build a representative workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities where we live and work, fostering a workplace that's welcoming, equitable and inclusive for all.
What you'll do:
- Lead the development and execution of FCC's DEI action plan
- Foster strong collaboration across FCC and with external partners
- Manage internal and external stakeholder reporting
- Ensure FCC is compliant with legislative, internal governance and stakeholder communication needs
- Lead the DEI team to ensure delivery and implementation of FCC's DEI corporate strategy across the organization
- Assess needs and identify actions to mature FCC's DEI and accessibility impact

What you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, social sciences or public administration and at least 10 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Indepth understanding of the Employment Equity Act, Accessible Canada Act and other related legislation and best practices
- Experience embedding ESGrelated strategies in organizations
- A DEIpractitioner certification from an accredited postsecondary institution or relevant organization (for example, CCDI), or other formal DEI training
- Proven ability to develop and execute evidencebased action plans that deliver meaningful results for organizations and people
- Experience managing projects in crossfunctional teams
- Experience working in a financial institution or similar organization is a strong asset
