Using your in-depth knowledge of best practices and legislative requirements, you'll design and implement FCC's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy.


You'll ensure that FCC is taking action to build a representative workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities where we live and work, fostering a workplace that's welcoming, equitable and inclusive for all.


What you'll do:


  • Lead the development and execution of FCC's DEI action plan
  • Foster strong collaboration across FCC and with external partners
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder reporting
  • Ensure FCC is compliant with legislative, internal governance and stakeholder communication needs
  • Lead the DEI team to ensure delivery and implementation of FCC's DEI corporate strategy across the organization
  • Assess needs and identify actions to mature FCC's DEI and accessibility impact

What you'll need:


  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, social sciences or public administration and at least 10 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Indepth understanding of the Employment Equity Act, Accessible Canada Act and other related legislation and best practices
  • Experience embedding ESGrelated strategies in organizations
  • A DEIpractitioner certification from an accredited postsecondary institution or relevant organization (for example, CCDI), or other formal DEI training
  • Proven ability to develop and execute evidencebased action plans that deliver meaningful results for organizations and people
  • Experience managing projects in crossfunctional teams
  • Experience working in a financial institution or similar organization is a strong asset
