LCL Excavation is hiring Flagpersons for its Moncton location.As a Flagperson, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our clients and workers on roadways during construction activities.
Your responsibilities will include using a stop/slow paddle to control traffic at work sites. Prior safety training is required.Key Responsibilities:
- Safely control traffic flow using stop/slow paddles and hand signals
- Protect workers and ensure a safe environment during road construction projects
- Direct vehicles and pedestrians to maintain a smooth traffic flow
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks and accidents
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of road construction and traffic control procedures
- Previous experience as a Flagperson or in a similar role preferred
- Valid traffic control certification or willingness to obtain it
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Attention to detail and ability to remain focused in highpressure situations
