Details:
Part time, Days, 27.50 hours per week, 11:00AM to 7:00PM, 3-week rotating schedule

Schedule:

Week 1:
Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Week 2:
Friday, Monday, Tuesday

Week 3:
Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Thursday

Pay Scale:
$ $23.10 per hour

Rosslyn Place Lodge, Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB, T5E 1G4

Typical Duties:

Kitchen duties include:

food preparation, portioning and labeling food, cooking, cleaning kitchen areas, dining areas and equipment, dishwashing, preparing meals, beverages, sandwiches, salads and snacks, peeling and chopping vegetables.

Dining Room duties include:

greeting the residents, serving meals and beverages, setting and clearing tables, assisting residents at the buffet table as needed, assisting with meal attendance checks, and other site-specific duties as assigned.

Experience/Education Preferences:

Strong English communication skills are required, both written and verbal are required
Experience in food preparation is required
Experience as a server in a dining room is an asset

Other Requirements:

Strong customer service skills including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner
Ability to read and follow standard recipes and work in a sanitary manner
Ability to demonstrate responsible judgement in problem solving
Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a criminal records check and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
