Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Receive purchase orders and transfers
  • Process outgoing shipments of products via UPS or other delivery method
  • Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks, etc.
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
  • Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
  • Document and resolves discrepancies related to transfers and purchase orders
  • Tag and label incoming materials as required
  • May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • 15 years of relevant experience
  • High School or equivalent
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Experience in the electrical distribution industry
  • Ability to lift up to 40 kg, some product may be awkward/oversize
  • Attention to detail and good dexterity
  • Knowledge of customs regulations
  • Experience working with computerized shipping systems
  • Health and Safety experience required
  • Forklift License and Driver's License "G" required
  • Ability to work as part of a team with an excellent work ethic
  • Supervisory experience beneficial
  • Hardworking and punctual
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills required
  • Computer literate
