Requirements:

  • Experience in providing homemaking and cleaning services
  • Possess a compassionate and flexible nature, and a clientcentered approach to home support
  • Interest and willingness to work with a diverse client base including clients who are elderly, physically challenged, or at risk for being institutionalized and losing their home
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize safety issues and follow safe work practices
  • Must be able to meet the physical demand requirements of the role
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel across the City of Toronto
  • Effective verbal and written English language skills
  • Requires good judgment, and ability to provide minor problem solving
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification is a definite asset
  • Ability to speak a second language is a definite asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
