Purpose:

Facilitate the auditing of processed orders to ensure accuracy, and customer compliance. Identify and document warehouse associate (order picker) accuracy and adherence to required compliance standards.

Provide reporting and analytical analysis, by associate and customer that will allow management to identify improvement opportunities and challenge noncompliance fines and penalties.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Provide item by item crosschecks of processed customer orders to ensure the correct items were picked at the correct quantities.
  • Provide auditing of adherence to customer compliance standards. These will include but not be limited to, correct pallet standards, labelling, product segregation, height restrictions, and specific lot code requests.
  • Follow audit schedule and targeted orders as provided by the warehouse supervisor or manager.
  • Meet established productivity guidelines to ensure we are accurately and effectively meeting audit targets.
  • Compile audit result data reports that can be utilized for analysis, improvement opportunity, and in support of deduction challenges.
  • Fluent with well versed with all customer compliances related to order processing in the areas under the control and responsibility of the warehouse team.

Competencies:


  • Detail oriented, organized, and proficient using Software Applications such as Excel and WMS systems.
  • Strong powers of observation and excellent mathematical skills.
  • Licensed and proficient lift truck operator.
  • Ability to work independently, as a key member of a team effort to promote continuous improvement and excellence in customer service.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to maintain effective relationships with the warehouse associates they will be responsible to audit.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of our customer base and support the vision of the ELT and management team.

Requirements:


Education and/or Experience:


  • Post secondary education in an inventory control or logistics field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years' exposure to a warehouse environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer and MS Office suite skillset.
