Position Overview
Fall 2023 employment runs from September 2023 to September 2024 and positions include:

Master Instructor Aquatics
starting rate of pay $25.00/hour (Grade
Under Review)
Specialized Instructor Aquatics starting rate of pay $22.08/hour (Grade
Under Review)

Responsibilities & Requirements**
Master Instructor - Aquatics:Responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering high-quality advanced leadership courses in a safe enjoyable environment.

Advanced levels of aquatic leadership programs include but are not limited to:

National Lifeguard Instructor, Standard First Aid w/ CPR C, Lifesaving Society Swim and Lifesaving Instructors according to the certifying agency's expectations and evaluation criteria.

Must have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Examiner status for leadership levels is preferred.

Specialized Instructor

Aquatics: Responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering Bronze Medallion courses according to the certifying agency's expectations and evaluation criteria that is enjoyable for all participants. Responsible for the safety and well-being of registered participants at all times. Must have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Examiner status for Bronze Medallion is preferred.

Aquatic Leadership Conductors minimum age is 16 with current qualifications to teach/examine course being taught. Standard First Aid with CPR C and current National Lifeguard. HIGH FIVE - Principles of Healthy Child Development certification considered an asset.
