Skanna Security is looking for a Full-Time Security Guard to work at our Gatehouse

(Indoor / Outdoor work).

Must have access to a vehicle

The location is not accessible by transit.

Job Details:


  • Full Time.


  • MONDAY

  • FRIDAY
  • Must be able to work
    mornings (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM) / (6:30 AM 2:30 PM):
  • Must be able to work outside and inside in all weather conditions.
- $16.00 / HR


What you'll be doing:


  • Deterring and responding to incidents on the property.
  • Responding to various types of emergencies (fire alarms/elevator entrapment/intrusion alarms) Communicating regularly with patrons/clients.
  • Completing reports and memo book entries on a regular basis.

What we're looking for:


  • Valid Security Guard license and first aid card (CPR level C).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous security experience (asset).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Aboveaverage communication skills (written/oral).
  • Computer skills and ability to write a report.
  • Sense of observation and responsibility.
  • Honesty, autonomy, and very good judgment.
  • Ability to intervene quickly and manage stress.
  • Team spirit and excellent customer service
