Position Description:
We are seeking a reliable, clear communicator, confident in using Zoom/Teams and Microsoft Office software to support research participants use of the training package platform, and support facilitators delivery of workshops.
The time commitment is equivalent to about one day/week December 2023 to March 2025 with opportunity for some flexible hours.
Position would be ideal for a student looking to gain research experience.Attractive pay rate and 14% in leu of benefits.
Duties:
- Work under clear direction and protocol to assist with research project management
- Provide virtual administrative and technical support to participants' requesting assistance to access and use the virtual training package
- Provide virtual administrative and technical support to facilitators of 1.5 hour workshops that occur every 2 weeks in 3month blocks (available work days, evenings may be required)
- Provide ongoing communications with research team of data collection status and challenges encountered
- Other duties arising to facilitate implementation of training and evaluation; e.g., scheduling
Qualifications:
- Interpersonal, communication and problemsolving skills to support research participants and workshop facilitators.
- Proficiency in Zoom, Teams, Microsoft Office software (Outlook, PowerPoint, WORD, Excel).
- Familiarity with REDCap software an asset but not a requirement.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management and scheduling skills.
- No prior research experience necessary.
Supervision Exercised:
- None
Decision-Making Authority
- Follows defined procedures and protocols. All problems are referred to supervisor, the principal investigator.
