Description

Responsibilities:


  • Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Preparing food for service (chopping vegetables, cooking and slicing gyro meat, etc)
  • Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the Gyros & More Staff
  • Answer, report, and follow management instructions
  • Clean up stations and the whole restaurant
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Operate the cash register and take orders (via in person and over the phone)

Salary:
$15.50-$16.00 per hour

  • Chatham-Kent, ON N7L 4Z7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Night Shift (preferred)
