Job Summary:

Drivers are responsible for operating various tractor-trailer combinations for delivery of roof trusses, floor joist, as well as LVL/Glulam materials to job sites.

Drivers will operate roll-off trailers that deliver to rural and developed areas for a wide variety of clients in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

Job Information:

Monday to Friday (7:00 am to 4:00 pm).
Overtime if needed and only on a voluntary basis.
Benefits after six months of employment.

- $25-$30/hour to start - wage increases based on job performance and experience plus a performance bonus.

Essential Functions:

Maintaining a professional image and always represent in a professional manner on the roads, job site, and in the yard.
Loading and delivering product to job sites as required.
Ensuring load is properly secured and balanced for safe transport of merchandise.
Conduct a thorough pretrip inspection of tractor and trailer for defects during and after trips, reporting any issues immediately.
Unloading products in a safe and presentable manner in the proper location according to customer directions and company policy.
Ensuring all required shipping documentation accompanies all deliveries and obtains receipts and signatures when needed.
Properly maintain a driver's log in accordance with company policies.
Properly and efficiently complete all necessary paperwork including inspection reports, accident reports, and any other daily checklists.
Adhere to driving conditions in all seasons with variable road, yard, and weather conditions.

Job Requirements:

Must be 25 years or older.
Must have AZ Driver's License with 3 years of experience.
CVOR and Driving Abstract are required.
Must have document knowledge regarding Driver's Logbook, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, trip reports and accident or incident reports.
Work boots are required.
Reading, numeracy, writing, communications, working with others, problem solving, decision making, job task planning, and organizing skills are required.
