Job Summary:
We are hiring a temporary


Hours of Work
35 hours per week Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.


Your role

  • Evaluate business processes and necessary reporting, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
  • Develop strategy/ framework, criteria and key design decision document which can be applied consistently across Service Delivery Areas while gathering and recording requirements, mapping business processes, supporting solution design and change management.
  • Provide guidance for development strategy for legacy data conversion and data migration, develop conversion functional specification and mapping.
  • Provide guidance for new data collection with recommended processes and quality requirements.
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Perform requirements analysis.
  • Effectively develop plans and communicate concisely to crossfunctional team members.
  • Review and provide feedback from stakeholders on business requirements and other implementation documents.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce reports.
  • Ensure solution meets business needs and requirements.
  • Perform user acceptance testing.
  • Update, implement and maintain procedures.
  • Support development of training materials.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of work management, maintenance and asset management processes and how a CMMS or EAM system can be implemented to meet customer requirements.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Able to manage multiple and changing demands and priorities.
  • Able to compile data and information from different sources for critical evaluation, reconcile conflicts and communicate appropriate information to management and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of municipal asset management.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Visio.
  • Ability to understand IT methodology.
  • Ability to develop use cases, test scripts and then leading the execution of the tests including documenting the results.
  • Ability to document findings and create detailed reports and present findings.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is an asset.
  • IBM Certified Advanced Deployment Professional
  • Maximo Asset Management v7.6 is an asset.
  • Implementation of Oracle's JD Edwards and PowerBI with Work Management systems are considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of procurement process and JD Edwards will be an asset.

$38.99-$48.73 per hour
