Dare Foods Limited is a private, family owned portfolio of brands established in 1892. We are currently looking for
General Warehouse Associate positions with previous distribution experience in a fast-paced environment to join our warehouse team in our Cambridge location.


Responsibilities

  • Accurately complete routine documentation, such as pick sheets, manifests, unload lists and trailer inspections
  • Perform a variety of physically demanding general labor duties according to standard work instructions, such as manually loading and unloading goods from a trailer and order picking.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and efficiency in the execution of standard warehousing processes such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, checking and loading customer orders and products.
  • Employee maintains an acceptable availability for work.
  • Follows standard warehouse practices and work instructions required to maintain high levels of inventory and location accuracy. Documents and identifies all discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor or lead hand.
  • Perform a variety of physically demanding general labor duties according to standard work instructions, such as manually loading and unloading goods from a trailer. (Ability to lift up to 40lbs)

Qualifications

  • Relevant working experience in a food related environment preferred
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following areas: standard warehouse procedures (receive, ship, pick, pack, returns), material handling equipment operation, routine inventory processes, WMS (warehouse management systems), or specific valueadded processes.
  • Secondary school diploma preferred; certification(s) in applicable material handling equipment preferred
  • Experience with computers, forklifts, Reach Truck or use of RF equipment will be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrates solid communication and interpersonal skills in a teambased work environment

From $24.25 per hour

Experience:

Reach Truck: 1 year (preferred)

  • RF Scanner: 1 year (preferred)
End Rider: 1 year (preferred)
