Handyman to join our TEAM at the
Cambridge, ON site

Schedule

Monday to Friday: 7am to 3:30pm;
Optional overtime.

Pay
- $20.24/hr.

Qualifications

Perform minor repairs included but not limited to: lightbulbs and fixtures, hinges and doors, dispensers, shower heads and faucets, etc.;
Provide preventative maintenance: troubleshoot mechanical issues in scrubbers and/or sweepers, clearing floor drains, inspecting areas of the facility, repairing floor and/or ceiling tiles;
Hand and power tool usage;
Abide by all safety protocols, building standards, and company codes;
Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 50lbs, prolonged standing and walking;
Track and monitor consumables inventory, and submit order requests to recieve supplies from vendors;
Deliver consumables to janitorial site locations across all facilities of the industrial plant's campus;
Support janitorial cleaning duties as required;
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience conducting minor repairs;
Mechanically inclined person with electrical knowledge;
Previous experience working in an industrial environment is considered an asset;
Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs;
Strong attention to detail;
High School Diploma or Equivalent;
A valid Ontario Driver's License is required.
