What does a great Production Associate do?


A Production associate is tasked with the critical job of quality control inspection, electronic functional testing, reprogramming, cleaning, packing the point of sale (POS) equipment.

We ensure the reliability of the equipment that is vital to our merchant's daily success of handling final transactions. This role is critical in the functionality and reliable operation of our point of sales products.

The terminals we touch are sent to merchants across the country that are used by consumers for the purchase of various products and services.

There is also expectation of supporting other areas as the need arises, so job is not limited to area but will require movement to other areas of the business to support the team.


You can look forward to:

We work hands on with point of sale (POS) equipment every day. Complete training on all assigned equipment to ensure you have knowledge to test equipment for problems with some assistance. Download, configure and test all units according to set procedures. Inspect for cosmetic failures. Fully erase any old program stored in unit as needed. Download appropriate test program into unit and fully test functionality of unit as needed. Record all units into repair tracking system. Report any informational discrepancies between the unit and its associated paperwork. Work within quality control standards; maintain a neat, clean and orderly workstation adhering to all safety standards. Review the quality control inspection of the equipment prior to the next process level. Responsible to receive broken or dysfunctional units and restore back to their full operating and functional purpose. Participate in opportunities to work special projects and duties as assigned. We are responsible to follow written procedures, and support other areas and functions as needed.


Basic qualifications for consideration:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year working knowledge.
  • 1year Strong computer software and hardware skill
  • Component Identification Ability required.
  • Must be able to lift to 20 lbs. throughout day, up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be able to stand and sit for entire shift.
  • Can communicate in English proficiently.
  • Available to work between the hours 8:30am 5:00pm shift.

Preferred qualifications for consideration:


  • 1year Electronics or computer/tablet repair/assembly experience
  • Prior production, assembly line or warehouse experience
  • Prior experience working with electronic devices.
  • Prior experience with ISO 9001 quality processes
  • Following written policies and procedures
