    Keys to Success

    Requirements
    • Vocational diploma (DEP) in machining techniques
    • ASP Machining on CNC machines
    • DEC in mechanical or aerospace engineering
    • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team
    • Proficiency in French (spoken and written)
    • Strong English comprehension and reading skills
    • Solid English language proficiency, both written and oral, is essential for this role to meet the operational needs of the Employer and interact with relevant parties.

    Your Daily Responsibilities


    Main Functions


    Production Plan
    • Ensure optimal production of equipment, machinery, and tools
    • Analyze work requirements, foresee production needs and special demands
    • Diagnose production metrics, statistical data, and manage multiple processes or machines efficiently
    • Optimize production flow and part inventories
    • Make necessary adjustments for tools, equipment, and measurement instruments
    • Take actions to maintain production pace for timely customer delivery
    Maintenance Plan
    • Conduct initial diagnosis to identify issues, coordinate repair tasks across support groups
    • Apply maintenance plans, perform autonomous maintenance routines, and minor repairs
    • Utilize various computer systems and technologies
    Quality Plan
    • Validate adherence to quality standards through dimensional and visual inspections
    • Proactively analyze performance indicators and address recurring issues
    • Implement corrective and preventive actions, ensure tool integrity, and maintain calibration records
    • Document quality requirements and lead quality meetings
    • Ensure parts meet all specified standards

    Related Functions

    May engage in various tasks like ATTI verification, blasting, sanding, polishing, chemical and mechanical cleaning, basic deburring, masking, and unmasking parts to maintain material flow. Additionally, perform external tasks such as balancing, inspection, and packaging outside the Advanced Manufacturing Centre.

    What You Need to Succeed?

    Requirements:
    • Vocational diploma (DEP) in machining techniques
    • Mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering skills
    • Ability to work as part of a team
    • Proficiency in French (written and verbal)
    • Good understanding and reading of English
    • Good knowledge of the English language, written and oral, is required for this position taking into account the operational needs of the Employer and the people with whom the candidate will be called upon to interact.

    What Your Day to Day Will Look Like?


    Main Functions


    Production Plan
    • Ensure the optimal production of equipment, machines, and tools
    • Analyze the work, identify the production requirements, foresee any special requirements regarding difficulties
    • Diagnose production indicators, statistical data, and carry out operational cycles to run multiple machines or processes internally or externally to the advanced manufacturing center simultaneously
    • Maintain and optimally control the production flow and part inventories
    • Make the necessary adjustments, alignments, and settings of precision tools, equipment, and instruments
    • Take the required actions to maintain production pace to ensure timely delivery to customers
    Maintenance Plan
    • Conduct a first-level diagnosis to identify the source of problems, intervene and/or coordinate interventions of different support groups. Apply knowledge on equipment and robotics/networking as the first responder
